Are you struggling with getting your life on track spiritually and physically? Did you know that just praying and believing, while just hoping and well wishing and having faith by itself is not going change your circumstances?
If you read the Bible it CLEARLY says that FAITH WITHOUT WORKS IS DEAD!
That means while we pray to move things in the spiritual realm we have to be doing our part in the physical realm to better our selves and situations. God, most of the time, isn't just going to miraculously change you or the situation you're struggling with. While God his ALL POWERFUL and can do anything...He's most likely going to ASSIST with and REWARD your actions that are taken in faith. He is most likely going to present you with situations and opportunities to take advantage of that will lead to what you've been praying for. He's going to bring people across your path to help to get you to where you want to be.
God has blessed us with freewill and He test our faith in Him. He wants us to prove that we trust in Him by taking the necessary steps IN FAITH towards Him and what we are believing Him for. He wants us to take the first step and then He will take His steps to meet us in the middle.
That being said: What are your works? What steps are you taking to meet God in the middle? What daily habits do you have that are leading you towards what you've been praying for?
If you've been praying for better physical health, financial turn around, a job, a place to live, freedom from addiction, healing from hurt and trauma...what are you doing to get these things?
The foundation of ICONIC Faith are 13 DAILY HABITS designed to get you and keep you on track spiritually and physically with God. These are the 13 Habits that got me through prison and over drug & alcohol addiction.
Scroll down to see what these 13 Daily Habits are.
14 What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him? ... 17 Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. ... 18 But someone will say, “You have faith, and I have works.” Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works. ... 26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.
Start your day with a win! "If you make your bed every morning, you will have accomplished the first task of the day. It will give you a small sense of pride, and it will encourage you to do another task, and another, and another." People who make their beds are twice as likely to be satisfied with their jobs and almost 20% more likely to prioritize responsibilities over their desires AND to be more productive in their free time. ALSO, the National Sleep Foundation found that people who make their bed in the morning are 19 percent more likely to have a good night's sleep, every night.

Prayer is what connects us to God. We send Him our request and petitions. We give Him our anxiety, doubts and fears. We give Him our thanks and praise and adoration. We repent and ask for forgiveness.
All through prayer.
Pray when you first wake up in the morning and pray before bed.
I also recommend that your pray during the day just to tell God that you love Him and also if any challenging situations arise.

Take time to be aware of your body needs. Studies show that in the U.S. up to 75% of all people are dehydrated! Symptoms of dehydration: Fatigue, lack of focus, loss of strength and endurance, dizziness and light-headedness. Good hydration counters those symptoms, increases skin clarity and health, nutrient
absorption, helps brain function, digestive efficiency, weight control, blood pressure and body temperature regulation, energy uplift, helps maintain proper kidney function, and joint health. There are numerous benefits of good hydration.
Although drinking alcohol may be fun and a common go-to source to "wind down" after a long day or to pair with a night out, its negative consequences outweigh the good. It negatively affects sleep, hormones, brain function and health, heart, kidneys and liver. Each time your liver filters alcohol, some of the liver cells die. The liver can develop new cells, but prolonged alcohol misuse (drinking too much) over many years can reduce its ability to regenerate. Alcohol causes changes in the function of the kidneys and makes them less able to filter the blood. Alcohol also affects the ability to regulate fluid and electrolytes in the body. When alcohol dehydrates (dries out) the body, the drying effect can affect the normal function of cells and organs, including the kidneys. Consider all of these things before your next drink. Ask yourself if you've drank too many times this week and/or had too many drinks for the night. Overall, alcohol impact depends entirely on the individual. There are more cons than pros. Less is best.
